Our guests welcome our simple eco-friendly and eco-conscious living, and appreciate the introduction to the going-green B&B experience.
Azalea Inn and Gardens is not totally a green B&B or eco bed breakfast inn. However, we are like most Americans who want to do our part. So, we are recycling, we use water conservation features within the inn and in our beautiful gardens’ low volume irrigation, and drive a hybrid vehicle.
Here’s what the experts say: “The primary trends identified are that travelers appear to be going lean and green by visiting national parks, hiking, and engaging in adventure activities. A greater amount of Americans said they will be environmentally conscious in their travel decisions in 2009, and more plan to visit eco-friendly hotels in the coming year,” reports TripAdvisor.com in “Sustainable Travel.”
