All guestrooms have a private bath with the exception of the cottage house. Two bedrooms in the cottage house share one bath; however, the cottage house is rented only to traveling companions.

At no charge, Azalea Inn and Gardens provides Wireless Internet. For those traveling without personal computers, quick email checks may be completed also on the Inn’s computer, as time permits.

Complementary private parking is provided in the adjoining lot. A parking pass, valid throughout the historic district, including city garages, is available for $8 from the front desk. The pass is valid for 48 hours from time of purchase.
Some rooms feature gas-burning fireplaces. Front desk staff will assist to light the fireplaces during cold weather. The inn does not permit the fireplaces to be lit in warm weather.
Azalea Inn and Gardens is located in the historic district of Savannah, a 2.5-mile area. Guests typically walk to nearby attractions.
Yes. The Inn’s front desk staff will be happy to make a reasonable number of recommendations and reservations, at no charge.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. No reservations are required.
An on-the-run quick breakfast will be provided for our guests, if a request is made the prior day.
Breakfast is described as New Southern, which is a blend of fresh, local and seasonal southern foods, prepared inventively with taste, presentation and health in mind.
At reservation, please advise the front desk staff regarding diet limitations. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs.
We will be happy to serve you breakfast in bed (B-in-B) if arranged the day prior and scheduled for delivery at either 8:00 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. We charge a nominal $15 for B-in-B. Ordinarily, room service is not provided at the inn.
Children and Pets
Well-behaved and well-supervised children age 12 and above are very welcome.
No. We love our three Yorkies and have attempted to allow guests to include their family pet in travels to the Inn. However, our Yorkies do not like sharing the premises, so we do NOT accept pets. We hope our guests will understand.
Yes. We have 3 Yorkies living in the private quarters of the innkeepers. Our pets visit in and around the inn. There is also an outdoor cat frequently found loungin on the porches.
Reservation, Rates and Arrival
Guests should call to alert the Inn regarding late arrival. We will make arrangements if possible.
When situations arise requiring a change or cancellation in your reservation, we most certainly do empathize, but we must maintain a strict cancellation policy. Should you cancel your stay within 14 days of your arrival you will be responsible for full payment, though we will make every effort to re-rent the room for you and will issue you a gift certificate to use at a future date. If your stay is cancelled more than 14 days prior to your arrival date, a refund of your deposit, minus a $25.00 cancellation fee, will be credited to your account within three (3) business days after the date of cancellation for each room reservation.

We request a minimum of a 2-night stay, with a 3-night stay on long weekends. However, we will try to accommodate your lodging needs and encourage your inquiry.
Azalea Inn and Gardens extends a 10% discount to active and retired military as well as “first responders” (police, fire and EMS personnel). An ID must be presented at check-in.
Privacy
Guests enjoy room privacy. Breakfast is served at the dining table with a maximum number of 12 guests.
We have had no complaints regarding this.
Yes. The inn's parlor, dining room, private pool courtyard, as well as our wrap-around porch and gardens, are excellent places to meet other guests.
On special request, we can accommodate a private breakfast on the porch or in the courtyard, or you may request breakfast in bed (see above).
Miscellaneous
Built in 1887, the historic mansion does not provide handicap facilities.
No smoking is permitted in the inn’s interiors. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor open spaces. Consideration is requested for other guests. Cigar smoking is only permitted on the side porch at the front of the house.
Azalea Inn and Garden owner/innkeepers have private quarters in the lower level of the cottage house at the rear of the mansion.
