Savanna GA Georgia pictures

Savannah Diversity

Photographer Jim Taylor writes, “So much of the visual magic of this city lies in the marvelous juxtapositions of disparate elements. A tolerance for architectural differences symbolic of a city of integrations.”  From the colony’s beginnings with English settlers (ca. 1733), the citizenry of “County of Savanna” Georgia has swelled with immigrants from Europe, African, Ireland, Scotland … and indeed across the world.  Landscaping, architecture and social scenes include multi-cultural heritage celebrations, diverse religious holidays, plus ethnic celebrations.
